1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website; they allow the site to recognize your device and store certain information. Related technologies include:

• Local storage: data stored in your browser, similar to cookies but with larger capacity.
• Pixels / web beacons: tiny images embedded inpages or emails that record activity such as page views.
• Fingerprinting: techniques that identify adevice from its configuration. We do not use fingerprinting.

2. Our Posture

Hanif Accounting & Advisory,CPA takes a minimal-cookie approach. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social-media trackers, or chat widgets. We deploy onlystrictly necessary cookies required for our website to function and be secure. We may, in future, adopt a privacy-friendly analytics solution; if we do, we will update this policy and, where required, implement a consent mechanism.

3. Cookie Categories We Use

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies

Our website is hosted on Webflow. Webflow states in its cookie policy that it does not add cookies tocustomer-published sites; cookies may, however, be set at the content-delivery-network (Cloudflare) level for security and bot/rate-limiting protection. These are strictly necessary and do not track you across sites.

3.2 Functional cookies (only if a feature is embedded)

If we embed Calendly for scheduling, Calendly may set cookies to enable booking functionality.

3.3 Cookies set by embedded third parties

If we embed a HubSpot form or HubSpot tracking on a page, HubSpot may set tracking/analytics cookies (e.g., __hstc, hubspotutk, __hssc, __hssrc). These are analytics/marketing cookies and would require consent. We do not currently deploy HubSpot tracking on our public website.

5. Consent Under Quebec Law 25

Quebec's Law 25 and related Canadian privacy guidance require opt-in consent for cookies that profile ortrack users (analytics and marketing cookies). Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. Currently we deploy only strictly necessary cookies, so no consent banner is required. If we add functional, analytics, or marketing cookies (such as Calendly or HubSpot embeds, or a privacy-friendly analytics tool), we will implement a consent banner that allows you to acceptor decline non-essential cookies before they are set. Note that Law 25's privacy-by-default requirement for technological products does not apply to browser-cookie privacy settings.

6. How to Control Cookies

Browser settings: You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, AppleSafari, and Microsoft Edge all provide cookie-management controls in their privacy/settings menus.

Opt out of specific third parties: Where third-party embeds are used, you can opt out via the provider's own controls.

 Do Not Track (DNT): Your browser may send a DoNot Track signal. We honour it to the extent applicable to any non-essential cookies.

Global Privacy Control (GPC): We recognize the GPC signal where applicable to non-essential cookies.

7. Consequences of Disabling Cookies

If you disable strictly necessary cookies, parts of our website (including security and form features) may not function correctly. Disabling functional cookies (e.g., Calendly) may prevent scheduling from working. Disabling analytics/marketing cookies has no effect on core functionality.

8. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We will update this policy if our cookie use changes and will revise the effective date and version number accordingly. Material changes will be communicated as described in our Sub-Processor Policy.
